Pine Mountain

Pine Mountain is probably the most popular place to visit around Harris County and with all of its family attractions, I couldn’t agree more. You can golf at some of the most beautiful golf courses around at Callaway Gardens or meet exotic animals on the Serengeti Adventure at the Wild Animal Park.

Pine Mountain also features the infamous F.D. Roosevelt State Park. At over 9,000 acres and more than 40 miles of trails (including a 23-mile long trail up Pine Mountain) this park is where you can challenge your hiking endurance. Don’t worry, there are plenty of rest areas and BBQ pits to refuel your body.
