JOHN BUNN IS THE MOST HELPFUL REALTOR IN HARRIS COUNTY, GA
I’m John Bunn, a real estate agent at Waddell Realty. I’ve been an agent in the Harris County area for 27 years now, but before I get to introducing my story, I’d like to talk about what I love about Harris County, GA.
With a population of just over 32,000 residents, Harris County, GA is a perfect combination of a picaresque, Georgia setting and an easy access to a larger, bustling metropolitan area. With all the great schools in the area, it makes for a great place to raise a family first and foremost. It’s also a quiet place for retirees looking to get away from a fast paced city life.
That’s why I’ve chosen to make Harris County, GA the center of my professional career as a real estate agent, and why I continue to live in the area today.
FAMILY HISTORY IN COLUMBUS, GA
My roots to the Harris County area go back to my childhood as an army brat, with my father stationed at Fort Benning back in the 1960s. I attended Harris County High School, and it was there where I discovered my love of the unique architecture and sense of place of Georgia.
After a stint in the Air Force, I returned to Georgia to get my business degree at LaGrange College, then followed my father into real estate – starting my career as an agent.
JOHN BUNN, GEORGIA REAL ESTATE AGENT
In the mid 90s, I started my own business John Bunn Realty, and also found time to complete my MBA at Troy University. And while I enjoyed owning my own company, I understood the importance of being apart of a diverse culture. So in 2009, I made the move to Waddell Realty and joined its excellent team.

I’ve seen Harris County, GA, and Columbus, GA grow and change over the 50 odd years I’ve spent in the area. And although the population has grown, and new developments along the Chattahoochee River have brought different resources to the area, it hasn’t lost the charm, beauty, and safety that I grew up loving, and that has defined the town.
